I thought since I'm a female and not really familiar with the whole forum thing, we could start a thread for all the girls to get their fashion, make up, relationship, and general life questions answered. Guys can leave tips too of course.
So my first question... what does anyone recommend for foundation products? I have fair, sometimes dry skin (and a gift card to Sephora burning a hole in my pocket). I was considering Bare Minerals. Any other suggestions??
Bare Minerals is good if you are looking for a whole routine. In order to get the benefits of it, you have to use all the products (primer, foundation, veil, etc.) in a certain order or they don't last as long. I'm partial to cream foundations. I think they last longer and give a more even look. I'm particularly fond of Clinique since it doesn't clog your pores like other foundations can do.
I use the bareminerals and I really like it. I usually don't use the primer or veil, in less its a special occasion cause they can feel kinda heavy. The foundation alone is great and feels natural and light weight. However, I suggest getting the whole starter kit so you have all the options, and can figure out what works best for you.
I use bareminerals too!! you can get the same effect of the mineral veil (the last step) by using baby powder. it takes the shine off without using more foundation. the starter kit does include 2 tiny blushes (a bronzer and a pink blush) and i still have a ton of that left and i got them at least 2 years ago.
