This post can be boiled down to two sentences: it is wholly up to you what information you give away and do NOT let anyone try to tell you otherwise. You can give your paypal username (for example) to any individuals, the entire site or absolutely no one if you so choose.
Example 1: You choose to give no one any information whatsoever, then proceed to win a contest with a hefty compensation. You decide you want that hefty compensation, and you feel comfortable sharing your information with a given admin. Well go ahead and share that information with that admin, he'll hook you up with the compensation, and absolutely no one else has to know any real life information about you.
Example 2: You enter contests, cash-comp queries, etc out of the fun of it or out of the goodness of your heart with no intention whatsoever of ever seeing a nickle for any of it and never post any personal information to anyone ever. This is completely fine. You will still receive any and all appropriate rewards we are able to give you given the information you've given us.
In other words, if you're a graphic designer who wins one of our graphic designing contests, and you don't want the compensation, but you want to receive accredation/recommendations etc, to your real name, we will do that. Or you can say, "screw you, procrastinaters.com, I don't want you to give you any real life information whatsoever," and that is wholly fine as well. We will still give any and all rewards we can given the information we have.
This is probably all very obvious, but we at procrastinaters.com wish to make this as explicit as possible. Even if a culture were to grow to where people posted their paypal username in their profile just to make things easy, then it should still be the case that no one ever feel any pressure at all to ever post any information at all.
