3 of the first 17 users had their username dedicated to their dog. That made 17.6% of our community dog-oriented usernames.

Just checked the day-to-day reports on Google analytics. Turns out that on Thursday, we were two page views away from 1,000 views. If I'd known we were that close to 4-digits, I woulda cooked the books just a little!

I'm considering starting a Google analytics thread because I think that stuff's cool, but then I'd feel like that would set the expectation for regular updates.

It was a frustrating loss at a place that has frustrating memories for me, but it was really cool. Leaving the mound and home plate exposed was a really classy touch, having The Roots play live makes everything better (even Jimmy Fallon), and so forth.

Brayden Schenn getting his first NHL goal to open up the scoring in the winter classic halfway through regulation after I'd been yelling "OMG Schenn just touched the puck for two seconds!" the whole game was pretty awesome, too. Hopefully that's the turning point of his career.
